COMING OF AGE WITH 'GREAT EXPECTIONS'...

So I just finished reading 'Great Expections' by Charles Dickens in my own record breaking 48 hours. I can honestly say this was the first time I had felt such a strong bond with a character. I triumphed with the main character 'Pip's' successes, I felt the blows failure in his own defeats. . .and felt sorrow when he broke his own principles. I saw value in 'Pip' that I wanted to emulate in my own life a dedication to pursuing my own dreams, overcoming my weaknesses and treating everyone respectfully regardless of what frustrations I maybe having in my own life... This book will certainly go down in my history has one of the most life changing book I had ever read. . . It couldn't have come at the right time am just three days away from turning 19!!!. Am certainly passing on this book to someone else. . . So they too can know how beautiful life can be when you decide not to imprison yourself societal norms. WHAT A PRICELESS GIFT THAT IS.
